Be Still and Know

I’ve talked about the spiders in my living area before, and I thought I’d take some photographs as proof that I’m not exaggerating their size.  This bad boy was on the arm of my couch, and was dying (I thought it was already dead).  As you can see even with it’s legs curled, it’s still almost the size of a quarter.  Way too big for my comfort.

The bad thing about these suckers is that they just roam around hunting rather than making webs.  And, I’ve seen more than 20 so far in my living area. I assume it is a wolf spider.
