Be Still and Know

Being able to draw what you see doesn’t necessarily mean you know what you are drawing.  Learning to draw what you see is a difficult skill to learn, but your drawings will go much further if you actually understand the form that you are drawing. 

That’s what my pictures lack, solid understanding of the form.  I’m getting there, but it sure has been a slow process.  I think the light bulb is really just now going off in my head.  Better now than never I guess, but I think it has taken me about two years to get to this point of understanding.
